Spark Of Madness is not a genre festival. It’s a Theme Festival… with three themes: Madness, Inspiration, and the Rocky Mountains.

John Evans is a writer, director, and podcaster from Florence, Montana. He earned his BA in Psychology and Philosophy at UM before earning his MBA at Idaho State and his MS in Psychology at U Idaho. He enjoys photographing and exploring the many National Parks in the Rocky Mountains with his family.

Kyle comes from the world of marketing. He believes in the power of story telling and is inspired by how stories through film can change and impact people. He has an MBA from Idaho State University where he’s also an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business. Kyle loves to dive into deep conversations with friends – or anyone who will listen.

Ron Torres is a 25 year veteran in filmmaking of all kinds. He has worked with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terry Crews, along with collaborating on videos that have garnered millions of views. His films have screened at various film festivals and have won awards. In 2015, he traveled across the united states in a 1986 chevy horizon van called P.J. which you can see in the youtube series “RONVANLIFE”.

Matt Davenport
Matt grew up in Idaho and has been in the broadcasting field since 1987. He worked in radio for fifteen years at various radio stations in Washington and Idaho. Matt is the creator and host of 'Matt's Movie Trax - The Show' which has aired on KISU since 2016. Currently, Matt is the News Director and evening anchor at KPVI-DTV. In his spare time, Matt enjoys camping, spending time with his family, and of course, watching movies.
Deanne Coffin
Deanne Coffin was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho and gaduated from Idaho State University.
Deanne worked for the long-running television show 'Touched by an Angel.' Her passion and love for film festivals started when it became a tradition for her to attend the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. After returning to Idaho from UT, she worked with Dawn Wells, who played Maryanne on Gilligan's Island, at her Spud Film Festival in Driggs. Deanne has worked for NBC KPVI News 6 for about 13 years where she is currently the morning anchor for KPVI News Today.
